[Sloop Scoop post-season 2003] #3 Birthday Party for Skipper Schuy March 7th

Hey cruisers, crew and friends

The spring weather is getting me psyched up for the season, despite the 
long list of spring commissioning tasks on the Sloop's plate.  But before 
we get there, we have to get rid of the last vestiges of winter that 
usually descend around March 7th to remind me that my birthday is still 
technically in winter.  Once my birthday is out of the way, THEN it can be 
spring.

So, much more low key that last year's big show, I'm returning to my usual 
I'll-be-at-this-restaurant-drop-by-if-you-want type of affair.  I'll be 
sitting at Lucky Strike Hyde Park, 1055 E. 55th Street (just west of the 
venue from last year's show) starting at about 4:45 pm on Sunday March 
7th.  Join me and eat, talk and bowl or play pool if you wish until about 
7:30 -- or later if people want to hang out longer.  Lucky Strike is in a 
giant parking lot, and parking is free on Sundays.  If you need directions, 
let me know.

RSVPs aren't really necessary, but if you want to assure me that I won't be 
sitting there alone, let me know you're coming.  They're pretty flexible at 
Lucky Strike, I didn't reserve a room or any special party package (and 
they said the kid's parties will be over by 4:00 pm).
